-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------There's a mini band SHOWCASE today at my school concert hall..

5 bands have taken part in this mini showcase..

I am in one of the bands as a drummer..

I think I have not played well as there are some problems..

For my band, there are a SINGER, PLUG-IN GuItArist,

BaSs EleCtriC GuiTArist & DRuMMER..

We have chosen a song that the drummer has to

listen to the Bass EleCtric Guitar for the

correct rhythm so as to apply the beats..

Unfortunately, I totally cannot hear the Bass Guitar

while drumming as the Hi-Hat is spolied at the first

place, creating quite a loud noise and that even

without hiting the Hi-Hat, I still cannot hear

the BAss GuitAr..

This is when I know that there's a trouble..

Without the Bass Guitar, how am I going to hit

the beats? =( Then I really hit the wrong beats

and our mini showcase end up as a bad one.. =(

I feel upset & also angry..

Actually, We are the second band to perform &

the first band also experience the same problem

as us but they have lesser beats to play, so it

doesn't affect them that much..

From the 3rd band t0 the 5th band, their songs

are all ROCK Songs and the Drummers listen to

the MELodY for the rhythm and beats..

They have done pretty well..

Actually, In the 4th band,

The Drummer also says that he cannot hear

the BaSs GuitAr while Drumming..

But For his band's songs,

He follows the MelOdY and therefore No Problem

FOr Them.. They HAve DOne Well !!!

To conclude, I think that my band has chosen the

wrong song as the theatre is not very good in

projecting the Bass GUitar Sound Towards

The Drummers and that if our song is one with

more MElody, I think that it will be easier

to use it to perform in that kind of theatre n_n

I hope that there is no Hard Feelings among my band

members.. Hope that next time we played, we will

be able to bring nice music

into people's memory =)
